The face of Wellsboro Football is soon to change. After 12 season of coaching at Wellsboro, Chris Morral has decided it is finally time to turn over the reigns. Throughout his coaching career, Morral served as a volunteer assistant, offensive coordinator, and for the past six seasons has been the head coach of the Hornets.

MOUNT CARMEL - The touchdowns came fast and often. Mount Carmel needed less than eight minutes to build a 21-0 first quarter lead and convince many of its loyal fans that winning a District 4 Class AA championship might be easy.
ATHENS - The demolition was complete, but no celebration ensued. In the second quarter, Justin Brown caught a screen pass, ran toward his team's sideline, flattened one South Williamsport defender and dragged another out of bounds, gripping to the shoulders of his muddy Canton jersey.
HUGHESVILLE - Kyle Stubbs already had thrown three touchdown passes and just one incompletion.
TURBOTVILLE - With just under 7 minutes to play Friday night, the lights went out at Warrior Run's Defender Stadium. Muncy had long before that turned out the lights on the Defenders, rolling to a 42-13 victory.
Since a 47-0 loss to Lewisburg in Week 1, South Williamsport has grown and steadily improved. All that hard work finally paid off Friday.
