Wyalusing falls to Warrior Run late.

Wyalusing led 14-7 but two late scores by Warrior Run gave the Defenders a 21-14 win in football action Friday.

Warrior Run took an early lead as Derek Keiser scored on a 7-yard run with 6:08 left in the first quarter. After the Elias George extra point the Defenders led 7-0.

The Rams struck back, though, as Andrew Pickett found Jeremy Allyn on a 26-yard pass play with 3.2 seconds to play in the opening quarter. Dylan Otis added the point after to knot the game up.

After going scoreless in the middle quarters Wyalusing found the endzone again with 10:41 left in the game as Pickett rushed in from 7-yards out. Otis' kick put Wyalusing up 14-7.

Warrior Run didn't go away as Nick Rohm found Garrett Moser for a 35-yard scoring strike. After the George kick the game was tied 14-14 with 7:52 left.

Moser had a 1-yard scoring run with 2:56 left to play to put the Defenders over the top 21-14.

Otis had 101 yards rushing on 22 carries for the Rams while Tim Ace had 33 yards on eight carries.

Pickett was 3-for-13 for 37 yards with one touchdown and one pick.

Mark Blanchard led Warrior Run on the ground with 178 yards on 24 carries while Keiser had 87 yards on 13 carries. Moser was 4-for-14 for 35 yards with a pick and touchdown.

Rohm had three catches for 41 yards.
