Athens girls, boys earn NTL sweeps.

On a rare Wednesday NTL dual meet the Athens boys and girls picked up sweeps on Tuesday in track and field action.

The Lady Wildcats edged out Wellsboro 86-75 while Troy scored 22 points.

On the boys' side Athens pulled away with 128 points followed by Troy (37) and Wellsboro (21).

Starting with the girls Athens' Breana Gambrell won the 100 in 13.08 followed by Wellsboro's Jada Jackson (13.38) and Dahlia Hosey (13.85) in second and third.

Athens' Rachel Hutchison won the 200 in 27.41 with Wellsboro's Lindsey Graver (28.58) second and Troy's Riley McClellan (29.00) third.

Hutchison won the 400 in 1:02.45 with Troy's Brooke Hinman (1:06.66) and Brook Loveland (1:07) second and third.

Athens' Shanell Baglini won the 800 in 2:28.73 followed by Wellsboro's Camryn Keane (2:49.55) and Athens' Michaela Courtney (2:50.30).

Wildcat Emily Madigan won the 1600 in 5:52.96 followed by Wellsboro's Anna Bleggi (5:54.91) and Troy's Katherine Polakowski (6:14.75).

Madigan took the 3200 as well in 12:50.41 followed by Troy's Courtney Case (14:01.35) and Wellsboro's Elizabeth Macias (14:28.59).

Athens' Ariana Gambrell won the 100 hurdles in 17.11 followed by teammates Cassie McDonald (17.23) and Jocelyn Burns (17.46).

Jackson won the 300 hurdles in 50.02 followed by McDonald (50.05) and Wellsboro's Haley Zuchowski (51.45).

The Wildcat 4x100 relay of Ariana Gambrell, Hutchison, Baglini and Breana Gambrell won in 50.60.

Athens' 4x400 relay of McDonald, Burns, Baglini and Hutchison won in 4:22.24 and their 4x800 relay of Madigan, Suzanna Searls, Courtney and Maggie Cole won in 11:11.45.

Wellsboro's Raisa Rogers led a Hornets sweep in the high jump at 5-feet, 1-inch followed by Mikayla Feil and Hosey at 4-feet, 7-inches.

Wellsboro's Joey Taft won the pole vault in 8-feet, 6-inches followed by teammates Kaitlynne Kramer (8-feet) and Courtney (6-feet, 6-inches).

Jackson won the long jump in 16-feet, 6 1/4-inches followed by Baglini (15-feet, 6 1/2-inches) and Wellsboro's Lindsey Graver (15-feet, 1/4-inches).

Jackson won the triple jump in 35-feet, 3-inches with Graver (30-feet, 11-inches) second.

Athens' Katherine Shenot won the shot put in 31-feet, 9-inches followed by Wellsboro's Hannah Lawton (25-feet, 9 1/2-inches) and Allyssa Boyd (24-feet, 9-inches).

Searles took the discus in 93-feet, 8-inches followed by Troy's Breana Millard (85-feet, 9-inches) and Lawton (82-feet, 9-inches).

Athens' Morgan Westbrook won the javelin in 101-feet, 9-inches with Feil (94-feet, 9-inches) second and Hornet Samantha Spurgeon (92-feet, 3 1/2-inches) third.

On the boys' side Athens' Kalen Keathley (12.13) won the 100 followed by teammates Ben Vosburg (12.36) and Jon Dailey (12.46).

Vosburg won the 200 in 24.13 with Dailey (25.14) second and Troy's Lucas Nichols (25.41) third.

Wildcat Erik Karlsson won the 400 in 58.29 followed by Nichols (58.68) and Wellsboro's Alex Freeman (59.84).

Troy's Jacob Culkin (2:11.84) won the 800 followed by Wildcats Ethan Lane (2:12.78) and Gabe Herbst (2:14.18).

Culkin won the 1600 in 4:49.72 with Herbst (4:49.80) second and Troy's Keegan Beard (5:01.16) third.

Trojan Kale Weidner won the 3200 in 11:01.22 followed by Wellsboro's Aidan Perry (11:07.55) and Athens' Nate Aquilio (11:08.35).

Athens' Matt Bryan won the 110 hurdles in 16.99 followed by teammates Braden Priester (17.91) and Sean Waltman (19.82).

Bryan also won the 300 hurdles in 44.83 with Priester (45.75) second and Waltman (49.09) third.

The Athens 4x100 relay of Payton Lewis, Vosburg, Dailey and Keathley won in 47.07.

The Wildcat 4x400 relay of Herbst, Lane, Keathley and Vosburg won in 3:44.60.

And the Athens 4x800 relay of Camden Allen, Aquilio, Lane and Kevin Singhel won in 9:17.41.

Wildcat Joe Moyer won the high jump in 5-feet, 4-inches with teammates Michael Davis and Dailey right behind at 5-feet, 2-inches.

Wellsboro's Devin Webster and Gabe Leach tied for first in the pole vault at 8-feet, 6-inches while Waltman was third in 8-feet even.

Troy's Tyler Parks won the long jump in 19-feet, 3 1/2-inches followed by Bryan (19-feet, 3-inches) and Karlsson (18-feet, 10-inches).

Athens' Adam Dieg won the triple jump in 36-feet, 1-inch with teammates Austin Lister (35-feet, 4 3/4-inches) and Lewis (34-feet, 1/2-inches) second and third.

Moyer won the shot put in 40-feet, 11-inches followed by Karlsson (37-feet, 10-inches) and Troy's Jacob Newman (36-feet, 2 1/4-inches).

Athens' Gabe Sporn won the discus in 120-feet, 2-inches followed by teammate Nick Hudock (111-feet, 8-inches) and Troy's Patrick Blade (108-feet).

Moyer won the javelin in 162-feet, 4-inches followed by Bryan (153-feet, 1/2-inches) and Karlsson (135-feet, 5-inches).
