Athens girls top Mansfield.

The Athens girls scored 21 first-quarter points on their way to a 65-15 win over Mansfield.

Shanell Baglini had a season-high 25 points to lead Athens and Ariana Gambrell had 13, while Emily Lunger had 11 points.

Kara Chapman had eight points for Athens and Reagan Lynch had four, while Breana Gambrell and Sophie Adams had two points each.

Baglini had nine boards, six assists and four steals and Ariana Gambrell had five assists, while Breana Gambrell had five boards.

Lynch and Chapman each had four boards.

Brittany Weiskopff had seven points for Mansfield and Lauren Smith had four, while Miranda Hampsher and Sara Swingle had two points each.

Athens hosts Wyalusing today.

Troy 53, Towanda 13

Morgan Gentile had 26 points, three boards, two assists, seven steals and a block for Troy and Sam Gentile had a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards, adding five assists, five blocks and two steals.

Carla Proto had four points and two boards and Marissa Bulkley had four points, three boards and two steals.

Madison McClelland had four points, two boards, an assist and five steals and Roxanne Kingsley had two boards and an assist.

Stephanie Pazzaglia had an assist and a steal, Emilie Cole had two boards and a steal and Autumn Gilbert had a steal and a rebound.

"Proud of the effort these Lady Trojans gave tonight," Troy coach Brian Burchard said. "They worked hard and stayed focused on the little things."

Megan Paulish and Shay Chandler had four points each for Towanda, Kristin Lelejedal had three and Cearra McLinko had two points.

Troy is at Mansfield today.

Sayre 48, CV 22

Chloe Tracy, Camry Lane and Molly Ball had 10 points each for Sayre in the win.

Kaeli Sutryk had eight for Sayre and Steph Klovekorn had six points, while Jayce Henry and Blair Wampole had two points each.

Lane and Klovekorn each had five assists and Lane had three steals. Ball had seven boards and Andi Noldy had four rebounds.

"Another solid team win on the road," Sayre coach Eileen Sparduti said. "Good ball distribution tonight around the offense and many players on the floor as we tried to save some gas in the tank for another division game tomorrow night. Molly Ball is looking to pull down career rebound No. 500 at home. A win to go with that would make the night complete."

CV got six points each from Brynn Williams and Patty Wattles and Nicole Hummel had five points.

Paige Swartz and Delaney Doan each had two points and Morgan Cady had one point.

Hummel, Williams and Wattles each had four boards and Swartz had three steals.

Otto-Eldred 49, Galeton 40

Cortney Parsell had 19 points for Galeton and Makaya Shadle had 10 points.

Olivia Pagano had six for Galeton and Laura Parsell had three, while Hannah Ludington had two points.
