Green Hornets down Redskins, 63-42.

Emma Poirier and Tory Self combined for 46 points to lead Wellsboro to their 63-42 win over Sayre on Friday evening.

For Wellsboro, Self finished with 24 points and Poirier had 22 points, Rachael Tuttle added 12 points and Lizzie Poirier had five points.

For Sayre, Camry Lane had 20 points and one assist, Steoh Klovekorn added 14 points, two steals and six rebounds, Madi Wheeler finished with four points and Blair Wampole and Amber Merrill each had two points. Wampole added five rebounds and one block.

Sayre won the JV match, 31-10.

NEB 52, Towanda 32

Jaycee Brown hit five three pointers and scored 17 points to lead Northeast Bradford to their 52-32 win over Towanda on Friday evening.

For NEB, Lindsay Moore had 10 points, including two three-pointers, Vicky Rought scored 10 points and nine rebounds, Josie Haverly finished with five points and eight rebounds, Aaliyah Bevacque scored one point, four assists and five steals, Lauryn Jones hit one three-pointer, and Marissa Brink, Lauryn Shultz and Emilee Allis each had two points.

For Towanda, Hannah Chandler finished with 12 points, Taylor Parker had six points, Erin Barrett and Ally Hurley each had five points and Kristen and Lindsey Leljedal each had two points.

NEB won the JV game, 51-26. Lauryn Jones finished with 16 points, Krista Hallett had 11 and Rought had nine. Barrett finished with 10 points.

NEB travels to Athens on Wednesday.

Williamson 40, Canton 35

Lily Fitzmartin scored 13 points to lead Williamson to their 40-35 win over Canton on Friday.

For Williamson, Hannah Deacon had 10 points, Emylee Yusko finished with nine points, Bethanny Boyce added six points and Emma Durst had two points.

For Canton, Elle Binford and Tamara Hess each had 10 points, Joelle Urban finished with five points, Emma Bly and Hailey Wesneski each had four points and Shea Roupp finished with two.

Athens 42, North Penn-Mansfield 29

Emily Lunger scored 20 points with six rebounds and six steals to lead the Wildcats to their 42-29 win over NP-Mansfield on Friday evening.

For Athens, Kara Chapman finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and four steals, Kayleigh Miller had six points and Sophie Adams scored two points with five rebounds.

For NPM, JoAnne McNamara had eight points, Jaime Palmer and Lizzi Welch each had six, Riley David scored three points and Jeanette Montefusco and Hannah Powers each had two points.

Athens won the JV match, 29-13. Kasidy Peterson scored eight points for Athens.

Athens takes on Montoursville at home today.

North Penn-Liberty 49, Troy 37

The North Penn-Liberty girls picked up their first win of the year 49-37 over Troy.

Eva Rice led NPL with 16 points and Emma Williams had 10.

Taylor Thompson had seven points and Alyssa Remley finished with six for NPL.

Mckenzie Bogaczyk had four points and Sarah Alexander Katie Mitstifer and Zoie McDermott had two points each.

Troy was led by Emilie Cole with 13 points and Roxanne Kingsley had 12.

Shyanna Yaggie had six points for the Trojans and Rachel Hidock and Abigail McDougal had two points each, while Katherine Polakowski and Cassidy Harding had one point each.

Cowanesque Valley 46, Wyalusing 32

Makayla Vargeson scored 21 points to lead Cv to their 46-32 win over Wyalusing on Friday.

For CV, Brynn Williams scored eight points, Karmen Short had seven points, Amaya Walker and Nicole Hummel each had four points, and Mikara Allen had two.

For Wyalusing, Callie Bennett led the team with 11 points, Emily Champluvier had eight points, Sarah Bird finished with seven, Paige Robinson added four points and Madison Putnam had two points. Bennett and Champluvier each had two three pointers.
