"Coming out of the gate I think we did alright," Towanda coach Tim Farley remarked. "Hunter had a pretty nice day, the other guys kept it under control."

Zach Faux added a 97 while Jake Spencer scored a 106 to round out Tunkhannock's varsity.

"When you schedule a good team out of the game like Tunkhannock it gives us a good idea where we stand as far as the league goes," explained Farley. "With the league starting Tuesday it was a real good effort. We kind of got the opening match nerves out of the way today and hopefully we'll head in there and give Wellsboro and the rest a run on Tuesday. Overall I'm real pleased."
