Towanda tennis falls to Galeton.

The Towanda tennis team fell to Galeton 6-1 on Thursday afternoon.

Towanda's David Rodenhizer won at first singles 6-0, 6-2 over Dakota Shadle and at second singles Tyler Dugan of Galeton won 6-0, 6-0 over Kevin Blackman.

Mitchell Smith of Galeton won 6-2, 6-3 over Dawson Wright at third singles and Eli Trimbar of Galeton won 6-1, 6-1 over Christian Thomason at fourth singles, while John Parsell of Galeton won 6-0, 6-0 over Logan Spencer at fifth singles.

In first doubles Shadle and Dugan won 7-5, 6-7 (3-7), 10-0 over Rodenhizer and Blackman, and Smith and Trimbar won 6-1, 6-4 over Wright and Thomason.

In exhibition matches Jake Batterson of Galeton won 6-2 over Matt McNeal and Cooper Sunderlin and David Rigas won 6-0, 6-3 over Anthony Vogel and Chandler Dunn.
