Towanda's Rodenhizer top seed for district tennis.

Towanda senior David Rodenhizer is the top seed for Saturday's District 4 boys' tennis singles competition.

The second seed in the event is Wellsboro's Aaron Dillman.

Rodenhizer was runner-up at districts last year, advancing to states. The top two finishers will again qualify for the state tournament.

Cowanesque Valley's Chandler Mastin is the fifth seed in the event.

Rodenhizer opens with the winner of Collin Payne of Montoursville and D.J. Clark of Shikellamy and Dillman opens with the winner of Jersey Shore's Kyle Haltenhoff and Montoursville's Scott Durrwachter.

Mastin will start with the winner of Nick Fisher of Neumann and Isaac Dietrich of Muncy.

Galeton's Tyler Dugan opens with Austin Krum of Central Columbia and Galeton's Dakota Shadle opens with Brian Fulmer of CV.

In the preliminary rounds Liberty's Andrew Nadas meets Meet Mehta of Milton, while Wellsboro's Tyler Kennedy takes on Danville's David Gilliam.

Towanda's Kevin Blackman takes on Milton's Alan Dean Elsayed and Liberty's Eric Kreger faces Neumann's Geoffrey Kist.
