Tioga volleyball tops Waverly.

The Tioga volleyball team swept Waverly on Monday, 25-14, 25-18, 25-20.

Tioga got 12 points, six aces, three kills, five blocks and a dig as they improved to 15-0 and won their 79th straight match.

Martha Schumacher had 12 points, six aces, three kills, five blocks and a dig for Tioga.

Anna Schumacher had six points, two aces and four kills, and Charli Hall had six kills, two blocks, two digs and two points.

Kurstan Martin had four kills, five points, an ace, a block and a dig and Chloe Bellis had 17 assists, a kill and three points.

Katie Goodwin had seven points, two aces, 10 assists and seven digs for Waverly, and Paige Lewis had five points, three kills and six digs.

Courtney Stillman had six points and two aces and Adrianah Clinton had three kills.

Sydney Meyers had two kills, a block and seven digs and Siera Kirk had a block and four digs.

Tioga won the JV match 25-20, 25-19.

Kaitlyn Perry had seven points, a kill, three assists and five digs for Tioga and Emme Hall had 16 points and two kills.

Julia Bellis had four kills and five digs; Molly Bombard had 10 points, three kills and six assists; and Destiny Powell had 10 points and a kill, with two digs.

Waverly got seven points, three aces and four kills from Madelyn Goodwin, and Hali Jenner had five points, a block and three digs.

Lexy Streeter and Chloe Craft each had four points.

Elmira 3, Sayre 0

25-11, 25-16, 25-17

Former Troy standout Morgan Gentile had seven kills and two aces for Elmira and Mariah Gonzalez had nine digs and four aces.

Lexi Wood had five kills and Karissa Clark had five digs, while Mackenna Bruner had 13 assists.

Alia Post had six kills, three digs and two points for Sayre, and Lexi Post had 13 assists, a dig, a kill and two points.

Camryn Brown had two kills and three digs and Julia Boyle had seven points, three kills and two digs.

Miranda Tappan had two kills and a block and Hannah Heveland had 15 digs, while Braxton Swackhammer had three points.

Elmira won the JV match 3-0.

Wellsboro 3, Galeton 0

25-12, 25-7, 25-14

Cheyenne Sherman had 17 points, five aces, six kills and five digs, with two blocks, for Wellsboro and Hannah Burnett had 10 points, an ace and six digs.

Brianne Keane had 23 assists, one match after she got her 1,000th career assist.

Heidi Zuchowski had six kills and Jillian Graver had eight points and five aces.

Caitlyn Callahan and Megan Starkweather each had five kills and Callahan had a block.

Galeton got a kill and a block from Erin Cimino and Makaya Shadle had two kills and three assists.

Marika Lechler and Alexis Johnson each had two kills and Katie Pagano had 19 receives and one assist.

Wellsboro won the JV match 25-8, 25-18.

Wellsboro hosts Wyalusing today.
